During the rise of each of these new media, diverse groups strive to gain access to it so they can voice and further their particular agendas. WebMedia literacy is defined as the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and create media messages in a variety of forms. This includes not only traditional media sources such as newspapers, television, and radio but also social media, blogs, and podcasts. One of the key components of media literacy is the ability to recognize bias and propaganda.
