(It is the only fan in the system.) The system will stay very quiet until the first time the ambient temperature goes up. Then the fan spins up and becomes quite loud.
WebFeb 16, 2024 · My FX-8320 is thermal throttling at 60°C. That explains it, yes its the mobo, the only 4+2 power design board that can properly support a FX83XX cpu with a small to mild oc is the asus m5a97 r2.0, but even on that I wouldn't recommend more then 4.2 ghz.
